Woman on the altar, is a vision God has given Evangelist Lakita Sykes. Lakita is an anointed, bold, mouthpiece for the Lord. Her passion is preaching, teaching, and praying healing and deliverance to all Gods people. Through many trials in her own personal life, she has learned the power of prayer and standing on the word of God. She serves her local church (The Battlefield Church of Christ in Norfolk,VA) faithfully and diligently. She loves to encourage and support others in love and with the word of God. She coaches and counsels women of all walks of life, into their purpose and destiny in the Lord. She’s known to have a soft voice with a bold message of transformation in Christ. A wife and mother, with a very nurturing and sensitive approach to those that are spiritually hurting and crying for help. She’s learned that on the altar of God is where real transformation can take place in one’s life. One of her favorite scriptures is Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I think toward you, saith the Lord, plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

What is an altar? An altar represents a place of consecration. Before God gave His Law to Moses, men made altars wherever they were, and out of whatever material they had. An altar usually represents a person’s desire to consecrate themselves fully to the Lord. Sometimes God Himself would command that an altar was built after He had delivered someone in a miraculous way. (Deuteronomy 27:4-7, Exodus 30:1) When we surrender our lives to the control of the Holy Spirit, we are laying on the altar of God. add another page.
